To the Seattle Chinese Garden at
South Seattle College, 5640 16th Ave. SW, Seattle, WA 98106:

From the North, driving South on I-5. or from the East on I-90, driving West and then South:

  • Drive South on I-5

  • Take Exit 163A (W Seattle Br / Columbia Way)

  •  Keep to the right

  • Take the right fork (Spokane St / W Seattle Br)

  • Merge on to West Seattle Bridge

  • Move one lane over and stay on West Seattle Bridge

  • After the apex of the bridge, keep to the right

  • Follow sign to Delridge Wy SW / South Seattle College

  • Continue to Delridge Wy SW

  • Turn left on the 3rd traffic light (after the pedestrian overpass)

  • Continue on SW Oregon St

  • At the top of the hill continue onto 21st Ave SW at right

  • Follow the road to SW Dawson St

  • The road will make a sharp right turn on to 16th Ave SW

  • Turn left into the South Seattle College North parking entrance

  • The entrance to the Seattle Chinese Garden  is on the left; park the car and walk down the path

From the South, driving North on I-5:

  • Drive North on I-5

  • South Center Shopping Mall and the exit to Hwy. 405 will be on the right

  • Past them, take the right tow lanes to Exit 156 to WA-599 N toward Seattle

  • Continue on WA-599 North

  • Continue onto Hwy 99 North

  • Continue straight onto Highland Park Way SW

  • At the top of the hill, turn right onto SW Holden St.

  • Turn right onto 16th Ave. SW

  • Drive North to South Seattle College, which is on the right side of the street

  • At the North end of the campus, immediately before the South Seattle College Arboretum, turn right into the campus’ north driveway.

  • To the right (South) will be the Judge Warren & Nobie Chan Education Center parking lot; past the Arboretum to the left (North) is the sidewalk leading to the Seattle Chinese Garden
